Junior World Championship contestants will be checking in for their tournaments at Torrey Pines tomorrow. This means the main parking lot and south range will be very busy. To avoid the crunch, we want to remind you to meet your 10:30 AM clinic at the north driving range (AKA as the instruction center). In case this is your 1st time visiting the north range, below are driving directions to the parking lot servicing that end of our practice facility:
Location/Directions:
From Interstate 5 Traveling North:
· Exit Genesee Avenue and turn left (West)
· Stay in the middle lane of Genesee Avenue as it curves to the right (North) and becomes North Torrey Pines Road
· Look for large green Golf Course sign on the right after Science Park Way and move to the left lane.
· IMPORTANT: Continue past the main entrance to the golf course.
· Stay in the left lane and turn left at the next traffic signal (Torrey Pines Science Park N) and into the parking lot.
· Look for the NIKE canopy and check-in table.
From Interstate 5 Traveling South:
· Exit Carmel Valley Road and turn right (West)
· Turn left on Camino Del Mar (the coastline highway)
· Stay to the right as you pass by Torrey Pines State Beach and climb up the grade behind the Torrey Pines State Preserve
· Turn right at the Torrey Pines Science Park N traffic signal into the parking lot of the instruction center (north range).
· Look for the NIKE canopy and check-in table.
· If you see the main entrance to the golf course you’ve gone too far; take the turn-off but turn left (away from the Lodge’s entrance). Turn left again and merge back on to Torrey Pines Road (north). Get into the left-hand lane and then turn left a the next signal (Torrey Pines Science Park N) and into the parking lot.
